Zigzag Goldenrod, Broadleaf Goldenrod - Solidago flexicaulis
|
Solidago flexicaulis - Zigzag Goldenrod, Broadleaf Goldenrod. One of the woodland goldenrods. 'Zigzag' common name, and probably the species name 'flexicaulis' come from the slight change in direction the stem takes at many of the leaf nodes, especially the upper ones.
Solidago flexicaulis is listed as Threatened in Rhode Island.
