Phacelia hastata - Silverleaf Phacelia, Timberline Phacelia, Mountain Phacelia. Phacelia hastata may grow to 3 feet tall, although it is sometimes decumbent - the stems lying along the ground. It is a plant of mid to alpine elevations. These were photographed at 3,000' or higher.
Found in: CA, CO, ID, MT, ND, NE, NV, OR, SD, UT, WA, WY
Note: I have some doubt about this identification - these photos may be of Phacelia heterophylla (Varileaf Phacelia.)
